After signing up, TeachThis members will be immediately directed to their affiliate dashboard and link. Members can also access their affiliate dashboard anytime from the blue 'My Resources' dropdown menu. Non-members of the website will receive an activation email and can access their affiliate dashboard after verifying their email address. Non-members of the website will see their affiliate dashboard in the main menu after signing in.
How Does the Affiliate Program Work?
The process is very simple:
1. A visitor clicks on or uses your affiliate link.
2. The visitor's IP is logged, and a cookie is placed in their browser for tracking purposes.
3. The visitor browses our site and may purchase a subscription or an eBook.
4. If the visitor purchases a subscription or an eBook, the balance payment will be registered as a sale for you, and you will receive a 20% commission for the sale.
5. The purchase does not need to be completed during the initial browser session as cookies and IPs are stored for 30 days. Thus, if the visitor returns to our site a few days later or within 30 days to make the purchase, you will be rewarded.
Affiliate Terms and Conditions
The Teach-This.com affiliate program is meant for those who would naturally link to our website and resources. It provides an incentive and reward for referring customers to our site. Sites that qualify are those with original content that focus on ELT, ESL, EFL, TEFL, Business English or Academic English. Most English teaching blogs, websites, forums, or social media pages are eligible. In addition, affiliates may use email contacts, friends, family members, colleagues and acquaintances to generate leads.
We offer a 20% commission to our affiliates for customers who purchase a membership or eBook. For example, for each one-year subscription purchased through your affiliate link, you would receive approximately $15.99. Commission payments are made every time the purchases made through your affiliate link reach a total of $100. You will receive each payment within 7 days via PayPal.
We track affiliate IDs embedded in links and use a 30-day cookie so if someone visits the Teach-This.com website from an affiliate link, and within 30 days completes a purchase, they are considered a lead for the affiliate.
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke affiliate membership at any time if we find the affiliate is not meeting the following terms:
• Affiliates must not engage in deceptive practices such as spamming, cloaking, forced redirection, browser hijacking, or false or misleading content or links.
• Other than the affiliate content available through the affiliate program, affiliates must not copy and paste content from our website without express written permission. We generally give permission when asked, so just send us a quick email and we'll reply within 24 hours.
• Affiliates also cannot offer a discount or coupon or otherwise a price lower than what we offer. Websites, blogs, newsletters and the like must have substantially original content. Spam or scraper sites are not allowed to use our affiliate content and links.
• Affiliate members may not use affiliate codes to purchase subscriptions or eBooks on the Teach-This site. It is important that the affiliate system not be used as a coupon system, but rather as an incentive and reward for those who refer new customers on an ongoing basis. We regard an affiliate as a long-term partner who is provided a reward for the hard work of establishing and maintaining a website, blog, forum or other original community, or who uses or recommends our services in their teaching or other related types of business.
